This product is a rubber Ozone protector / antioxidant of wax compound mixture, selected from a variety of paraffin wax, microcrystalline wax, etc.. In the rubber mixing and curing process the product was completely dissolved.
This product is a rubber Ozone protector / antioxidant of wax compound mixture, selected from a variety of paraffin wax, microcrystalline wax, etc.. In the rubber mixing and curing process the product was completely dissolved. It forms a supersaturated solution of paraffin wax system in rubber products during application and storage, and makes continuous paraffin hydrocarbon molecules migrate to the rubber surface. This migration is on-going until a paraffin concentration balance between external and internal rubber products is finally formed. On bsis of wax solubility and migration, the dynamic balance creates a protective film on the rubber surface with long-term stability which can prevent oxygen and ozone attack and protect rubber from destruction. The protective film shows an excellent stability against dynamic stress, and also takes a role of weakening light damage to rubber. It is technologically formulated by means of controlling the composition ratio of n- paraffine and iso-paraffin, and reasonably controlling carbon number distribution, so that the product has a high melting point, stable viscosity range, etc.. It has good migration in a variety of environments, can improve the appearance of the product and enhance the protective effect.
It is suitable for tires, conveyor belts and other rubber products. It can be used with other protective wax and chemical antioxidant to extend the scope of protection and to improve the protective effect. Applications:
1) Granular product suitable for use with automatic and manual measurement, in order to ensure dispersion, it is recommended to join in the initial mixing.
2) This product is recommended to use in the internal mixer. The application in the open mill, it is recommended the mixing temperature should exceed the melting point above 10 ℃.
3) Recommended dosage:1-4phr for tires; 2-6phr for conveyor belts; in other rubber products, it is based on experimental results. The recommended maximum dosage is 10phr.
